What if my kid has a tantrum at the shoot?

PUHLLLEASE don’t worry about this. Trust me when I say… I’ve seen it all. I’ve been photographing families for 8 years and truly, there is no tantrum I can’t handle. If your kid comes to the shoot and isn’t feeling it… we’ll wait it out. We can play games or eat a snack. We can go for a little walk, explore our new surroundings, watch a video… I have tons of tricks that I use to make kids feel comfortable and excited about the shoot.

I really believe that kids rise to the occasion when they come to a shoot. They are excited to be in a new place with a new person honestly, most kids don’t act out in front of people they don’t know. BUT with all this being said, if your kiddo really isn’t having it, we’ll reschedule. No biggie.

What should we wear?

Please wear something that you feel comfortable in. Clothing that is simple with no logos or crazy patterns works best for the camera. I also recommend that you dress for the weather. I don’t want to be photographing your daughter in a sundress when it’s 45 degrees out… that’s a recipe for a crying kid and bad photos.

Always make sure that your outfits are clean and wrinkle free and have no lint or animal hair on them. If you have any questions or need advice about outfits- feel free to reach out.

When will I get my pictures back?

My contact says that I’ll return your edited photos to you within 2 weeks but I always try to get them to you faster. If it is going to take longer than 2 weeks for any reason, I’ll let you know.
